The Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Gliwice was brought into being in 1996. The first Chairperson of the Court was Mrs. Anna Skowrońska-Łuczyńska, solicitor. Mrs. Krystyna Marut, solicitor, is the current Chairperson.
The verdict of the Court is ultimate, and its power is equal to that of the court of justice, or to the agreement of the parties expressed before such a court. The parties to a suit may register at the Court of Arbitration under the condition, they have included a provision for setting disputes by that court in their contact.
